I’m a Twin Cities-based artist who has been creating murals and large-scale paintings since 2020. As a queer, brown, immigrant woman, my work reflects my multifaceted identity and background, centering on themes of identity, human connection, and the relationship between people and the natural world. Medicinal and edible plants feature prominently in my art, symbolizing resilience and healing.

I spent 5–6 months each year for four years backpacking from Canada to Mexico multiple times, covering nearly 10,000 miles on foot. This transformative experience, living in a tent and traversing extreme outdoor landscapes, profoundly shapes my art. I often reflected on the absence of representation for people like me in these vast, remote American spaces.

Through my work, I strive to celebrate the beauty of nature as a space for connection and healing—particularly for those who have historically been excluded or alienated from green spaces in America.
